Within you'll find tidbits about tiny design studio as we share discoveries and recommendations on and off the web.

01. why tuesdays?

On tuesdays, the week is still new, and a feeling of anticipation for what the days ahead will bring lingers with lightness.

Enlightenment is when a wave realizes it is the ocean.

02. did you know?

In our earliest days, we designed websites in Macromedia Fireworks, then “sliced” the designs, exported them, and built out the HTML within "tables" in Macromedia Dreamweaver. Next came the dynamic, flexible and open-source WordPress framework.

Within the past two years, we've revisited the stand-alone, secure and stable SQUARESPACE platform and become members of the wonderful Squarespace Circle community. Because Squarespace is a closed platform, we have more time to focus on designing, editing, and optimizing websites while spending less time on back-end maintenance which we love!

03. tool tip

Email marketing is one of our favorite service offerings. It has the highest return on investment of all marketing channels, and we believe it's the best way to communicate news and service offerings to a cultivated audience (like this one).

Flodesk is an intuitive email marketing platform that empowers small business owners with tools to grow, nurture and monetize their email contacts. As Flodesk Partners, we can offer a significant discount on the first year's subscription!

04. be human

We've tried so many apps and platforms with the desire to streamline our processes and improve our client experiences. The best tool we've come across? Exceptional, authentic interactions: nurturing relationships with the folks who trust us with their digital marketing needs. One way we're doing that is by sharing this newsletter. 🌺

'til next time,

-Melissa
